The Central Power Station currently operates 2 air compressors to provide service for various uses throughout campus.  Air compressor #2 was installed in July 1996 to provide additional capability to meet constantly increasing campus demand and to provide redundancy for air compressor #1, which has been in service since 1960.  Compressed air is delivered to campus at 110 psi.
