We use the Sustainable Earth Carpet Cleaner #62, which we have found to be a better carpet cleaner than the old chemicals we were using. We have also replaced many of our cleaners with Sustainable Earth General Purpose Cleaner #60, Sustainable Earth Glass and Surface Cleaner #61, Sustainable Earth Heavy Duty Cleaner #65, and with Sustainable Earth Neutral pH Multi-use Cleaner. Live Micro 535 replaced one of the harshest chemicals we were using on campus. With the use of these environmentally friendly products we were able to discountinue 10 cleaning chemicals from our supplies. The only areas we still need to use harsh chemicals are for stripping and waxing the floors, cleaning and polishing brass and stainless steel, and deep cleaning restrooms. We continue to look for ways to help the environment by checking on new environmentally friendly products that are new on the market and consulting with our vendors on the needs of our building users.
