MSDS For Custodial Products

Cleaning products are an important part of keeping and maintaining our campus, from using glass cleaner for the windows, or shampoo for the carpeting. We understand how important it is to keep the faculty and staff informed of all the MSDS on the products we use. We have made a commitment to change over to green cleaning products for a healthy building environment. We are using Sustainable Earth products for general cleaning purposes.

The Sustainable Earth product line is the first line in the United States to have third party certification of its health, safety, and environmental claims. If you have any concerns about the chemicals, please consult the MSDS's or contact our office at 346-2316. The Facilitites Services Safety Office keeps a list of all MSDS's that Facilities Services uses, you may contact their office at 346-2270 or visit their web page.

What is a MSDS?

A Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) is designed to provide both workers and emergency personnel with the proper procedures for handling or working with a particular substance. MSDS's includes information such as physical data, toxicity, health effect, first aid, reactivity, storage, disposal, protective equipment, and spill/leak procedures.
