Keeping the approximately 100,000 doors and 30,000 keyed door locks on campus in good working order is the responsibility of the Lock and Door Shop.

In cooperation with the Department of Public Safety, the Lock and Door Shop also makes keys and can provide cabling and padlock systems for computers and other valuable equipment. Contact Public Safety to request a key or key-card.

For service to a door or lock (including re-keying) contact the Customer Service Center at 541-346-2319, or complete an online work request. After-hours emergencies can be reported to Public Safety at 541-346-5444.

The Lock and Door Shop does not work on security alarm systems (contact the Department of Public Safety).
