Mobile Equipment Shop

The Facilities Services Mobile Equipment Shop is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all internal-combustion powered devices on campus. If it has wheels or an engine, the Mobile Equipment crew takes care of it.

Two tractors used by the Exterior Team burn 100% bio-diesel fuel. All other diesel powered equipment and vehicles use a 20% mixture of bio and regular diesel fuel.

Much more than an auto shop, Mobile Equipment maintains and repairs it all, from chain saws and lawn mowers, to garbage trucks and backhoes, and every kind of vehicle in between.
